When my daughter turned 16, I knew I wanted to do something special for her. She is so beautiful and just loves being behind the camera so a styled “Sweet 16” birthday shoot felt like the perfect fit! Once I had my idea, I contacted my favorite photographers Josh and Aaron with Joshua Aaron Photography. They were happy to help! I’m so happy with how these turned out. They are so bright and fun and really fit her personality! Hope you enjoy 🙂
It is important to prepare your skin for the big day, so here are a few tips on how you can achieve this. One of the most important things you can do in the lead up to your wedding day is to prepare your skin.
Every bride wants to look beautiful, and although I can definitely hide those blemishes, nothing beats having beautiful, glamorous looking skin for the big day. There are many ways to achieve this, but it is important to start thinking about your skin at least 4 or 5 months in advance of your wedding.
And remember, Makeup is only going to be as beautiful as your skin is!
I’m pretty obsessed with Abbey’s bridal portraits and wedding day photos. The lovely Courtney Dox did such a stunning job with her photography! I love her bridal portraits so much that I’ve put a ton on here 😉 Hope you enjoy!
Now on to her wedding photos
From the second I met Alex, I loved her. She’s so tiny and cute I just wanted to put her in my pocket and take her every where lol. I loved every little detail about her bridals and wedding. From her amazing wedding planner Melanie Murphy with By invitation only... to her incredibly talented photographers We are the hoffmans everything was so beautiful. Her dress was even a blush pink and oh so girly! The best part but that her wedding was even featured in Southern Bride magazine! Swoon worthy I tell you! Now lets get to it! Hope you love the photos as much as I do!
I met Brittney through her sister who is a fantastic hair stylist. She has such a gorgeous and easy face for me to work on. And I just loved that she wanted her eyes to be dramatic and pop! It really suited her well! She had the fabulous We are the Hoffman’s as her photographers and as you can see, I just LOVE her bridals and wedding day photos!
And now to the wedding
The Titus Twins mom called me in a panic the day before their bridal portraits were to be done asking if I was available to do their makeup since the makeup artist originally hired, canceled on them. I was happy to oblige. I grew up knowing their parents well as a kid and I was honored to be able to help these two gorgeous girls out! I also thought it was pretty cool they were getting married together.
The super talented Emily Chappell Photography shot their portraits down in Beaufort, SC at the Old Sheldon Ruins. I LOVE everything about these photos. The girls dresses were downright gorgeous and the photos are so dreamy. I kept their makeup soft with hints of peach and pink and I could not more pleased with how their makeup turned out considering I had to do their makeup at 8am and their shoot was not until 3:00 in the afternoon.
The twins even got local news exposure about their double wedding weekend! See the link below to see their story.
Now on to the gorgeous photos!
